Abstract
Abstract – This paper explores the perspectives and challenges
of the most innovative platforms for the purpose of empty
container repositioning (ECR) reduction. Cooperation between all
stakeholders is of crucial importance for efficient ECR. A last
generation of e-marketplaces, related to “uberization”, may
provide an additional impetus for collaboration between all
parties.
