Abstract
Abstract –The paper presents a methodology for predicting the
number of passengers on a line that is being modernized by
increasing the existing speed to 160 km / h. The forecast was
made for two scenarios: without project and with project. The
process is complex and involves the application of correlation
methods, growth rates, surveys, and heuristic forecasting models.
