The subject of teaching in Introducing of Environment (IE), Nature (N) and Society (S), contains pedagogic-psychological scientific notions of the phenomena, processes and regularities that take place in the natural and social environment. Within these subjects contents from various natural and social disciplines are included, such as from geography, biology, physics, chemistry, anatomy, history, sociology, political economy, etc., so that in the teaching in IE, N and O, the beginnings of the natural and social sciences are contained.
Proper formation of scientific images and concepts in the teaching of IE, N and O is very important because it facilitates studying the special, natural and social disciplines in further years of education. In the paper emphasis is given of the significance and the role of the adoption of geographical contents and forming of geographical concepts which are closely related with later development of the different abilities and skills. For example, successfully formed concepts from the contents of orientation in space, sketch, relief, geographic map and signs should be а good base on which the students will develop abilities for orientation in closer and wider environment with determination of the cardinal points according to certain objects in the field, and also abilities for more intensively evaluating and using the map and so on.
