Abstract

Abstract It is well known that knowledge and continuity of learning are key elements of any institution's success, especially when it comes to higher education institutions. Knowledge as an invisible asset or commonly known as individual capital in educational institutions has many theoretical considerations and definitions, from a set of useful and usable knowledge to a set of synergistic knowledge, experiences, discoveries, innovations and processes that are useful and for social order. Basically it is intangible capital that is based on human values, abilities and knowledge. Shared values held by higher education institutions that are largely dependent on individual and collective knowledge. Individual knowledge that exists in the abilities, skills and minds of individuals and the collective knowledge that is disseminated, shared and transmitted between members of the institution and outside it to its users. What is common in the valuation of almost all higher education institutions is the fact that the knowledge possessed is a leading resource for achievement and sustainable competitive advantage, and to which special attention must be paid, finding different methods and ways of maximizing it. and to find its true value. Our assumptions have led us to do research in several higher education institutions, which will help us to forsee what is the role of knowledge and how individual values are recognized and valued. Key words: values, capital, knowledge, institutions
