Abstract

Based on the genetic studies of the Floria variety and its hybrids from the F1 generation, together with the varieties P 10-3/2, YK 7-4/2 and Dzebel 1, the following statements can be drawn: - For the character number of days from germination to flowering, the Floria variety is a bed combinatory. For this character it has many recessive genes. - For the character height of the stalk in the generation F1, we observed a partial domination and intermediate way of inheritance in the hybrits: P 10-3/2 x Floria, Floria X P 10-3/2 and Dzebel 1 x Floria. For this character Floria variety has a highly significant general combining abilities (GCA) and it also has an identical number of dominant and recessive genes. - From the analysis of the GCA for the character number of leaves per stalk, it was stated that the Floria variety has a highly significant value. The graphic analysis shows that this variety has an identical number of dominant and recessive genes. - For the character length and width of leaves, the Floria variety has a highly significant values for the GCA. Length and width of leaves in generation F1 were significant for 1% in relation to their oriental parent components. - For the character dry tobacco yield, the Floria variety has a significant GCA. The yield per stalk of the hybrid of F1 generation is significant higher then their oriental parent components.
