Abstract

The aim of this paper is to give an image of the status of tourism and hospitality legislation in brightness of latest Laws in Republic of Macedonia from 2004 and European tendencies and perspectives concerning this domain. At the beginning of the paper there’s an approach of Macedonian law regulative, with accent on Law for tourist activity and Law for hospitality activity in Republic of Macedonia, than an short comparative approach on law regulative of other countries of Europe follows, and at the end, common European tendencies in this field are processed, expressed through two very significant documents, concerning together working for the future of European tourism and basic orientations for the sustainability of European tourism, passed in 2001 and 2003, which are product of several EU corps and bodies: European Commission, European Parliament, The Economic and social committee and The Committee of the regions. Analytical and synthetic methods are used in the paper, case studies and comparative methods are present. Some useful conclusions are given at the end of paper, which are solid basis for scientific and professional public in Republic of Macedonia, in searching of positive output decisions in this area.
