The subject of this research are nine varieties of durum wheat (Ttriticum durum) as follows: angela, pobeda 2, marta, skopska rana, ela, sandra, kavadarka, mina and iva. In these varieties are examined following quantitative properties: stem height, ear`s length, number of little ears, grains number and grains` weight for which were analyzed the mean and variability. Variability is different for different properties: the highest is the property grains` weight, and lowest in the stem height and the number of little ears Were analyzed and productive properties of examined varieties. Productive properties of examined varieties with high performance that is a genetic characteristic of the varieties. Key words: durum wheat, variability, quantitative properties, characteristics of seeds, productive characteristics, variety.
