Abstract

The main purpose of this paperwork is to represent the developing proposals for understanding the importance of the Destination Management in Quality of Hospitality, during the process for the Quality standards adoption. First part of the paper is focused on the theory and concepts related to the topic while in the second part presented a benchmarking approach for comparisons between EU directives & Greek standards required according the law in comparison with Halkidiki agreement of Quality in
Hospitality, Gastronomy and related services as a useful tool to Destination Management Competitiveness. The last part contains the conclusions and the proposals for improving the quality in hospitality understanding the visitor’s evaluation in social media reviews as an interactive action.
